I dislike when religions insist that there is a specific party platform of political beliefs that are needed to be followed. An official declaration of what all good Christians (or Buddhists, Hindu, Scientologists, Scientists or Cultists) need to believe in the realm of the politik. It limits individuality and sadly transforms authentic personal spiritual growth into a gross blob of cheers, backslapping, grandstanding and occasionally ugly hats.
