Four poems on perspective.

1) Life is buried beneath
corn husks and cow manure
in a house of earth.

2) Digging up
old souls and spirit
through icy layers.

3) Winter’s frost
penetrates this
husk of body.

4) Barbed wire,
the only witness to
our morning’s warmth.
